Ofivio Briefcase is a collection of free tools for the paperwork a business actually produces โ€” letterheads, invoices, quotations, PDFs, images and the sums that come up on site.

Who makes them

They are built by Ofivio, a platform used by architecture, engineering, construction and property firms to run projects: drawings and their revisions, bills of quantities, invoices raised against milestones, payroll, site records. We are based in Lahore, Pakistan.

Most of these tools started as something that platform already did for the firms paying for it. The letterhead tool is the clearest example. Putting a firm's letterhead on every document it issues is something Ofivio does automatically, all day. Doing it once, by hand, to a single PDF turned out to be something a lot of people needed and almost nobody offered.

Why they are free

Two honest reasons, and neither is charity.

The first is that they cost us very little to run. The tools work inside your browser rather than on our servers, so a thousand people using them at once costs us roughly what one person does. There is no queue, no processing bill and no storage.

The second is that we would rather you met Ofivio by using something of ours that worked than by reading an advertisement for it. A person who stamped a letterhead onto a contract in ten seconds knows something true about us that no landing page could tell them.

Most pages carry advertising, which pays for the rest. The tools that matter most to us โ€” letterheads and invoices among them โ€” carry none.

How they are built

Almost everything here runs entirely on your own machine. Nothing is uploaded, nothing is stored, and nothing sits in a queue on a server waiting to be processed.

That is partly a privacy decision and partly an engineering one. It is faster, it keeps working on a bad connection, and it means we hold no files that we would then have to protect, back up, or hand over. For anyone stamping a signed contract or a salary sheet, that is the whole argument.

The trade-off is real and worth stating: nothing is remembered. Every tool starts empty, because there is nothing to remember it with. That is the right deal for a one-off job and the wrong one at volume โ€” which is what the paid platform is for.

What is here, and what is coming

More tools are being added. They are only linked once they work โ€” an empty page helps nobody, and we would rather the list were short and true. If something you need is missing, say so.
